Bus Registration for In-Town Bussing

St. Mary of the Lake Catholic School and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy

To ensure your child has a seat on the in-town bus for the upcoming school year, please complete and submit this registration form no later than Monday, June 15th at 3:00pm

Annual Registration Required: 

Bus students are not automatically rolled over. You must re-register your child each school year to maintain service. Registration to be submitted no later than June 15th. 

Limited Seating Capacity: 

In-town bussing is set to a seat capacity of 120 students. Additional names will be added to a wait list.

Only registered students will have access to the bus service. Complete this form to ensure that your child is registered and has bus service privileges.

Conduct Policy: 

Riding the bus is a privilege. Students are expected to follow all safety rules and demonstrate appropriate behavior at all times

 

Attendance Policy:

Reserving a seat requires regular use. Chronic non-attendance may result in the loss of your child's spot to accommodate studenst on the wait list;

 

Behavioral Expectations

To ensure the safety of all passengers, students must:

Follow the bus driver’s instructions immediately.

Remain seated and face forward while the bus is in motion.

Keep hands, feet, and objects to themselves.

Use respectful language; bullying or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

 

Parental Acknowledgment

I, the undersigned, understand that:

Providing false information or failing to utilize the bus service regularly may result in the cancellation of transportation privileges.

Appropriate behavior is mandatory. Failure to adhere to the school’s conduct and safety policies may lead to a suspension or permanent loss of busing privileges for the 2026–2027 school year.

Protection of Privacy: 

Personal information provided is collected in accordance with section 4(c) of the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA) and protected in accordance with section 10 and used and disclosed in accordance with sections 12 and 13 of the Act. It will be used for the purpose of collecting and managing bussing information. Information collected may be transmitted to and stored on servers outside of Living Waters Catholic Schools servers, Alberta, and Canada. Living Waters Catholic Schools cannot guarantee protection against disclosures as a consequence of foreign laws. Living Waters Catholic Schools may use automated systems in processing this collection of personal information.
